Hooray, a new section has appeared on this website and it’s dedicated to games and gaming! I’m a fair-weather gamer, usually dipping in and out of iPhone apps until the next Tomb Raider adventure is released. Tomb Raider and Spider-Man have been the two most recent games I’ve been obsessed with and they were a while ago now (haven’t started the new Spider-Man yet!)

I want to do better, at least for now as the clocks have changed and the nights are drawing in. It turns out some hobbies are meant to be seasonal and whilst I may have put down the gardening equipment and walking boots for now, I can pick up the game controllers and iOS devices instead.

The section is for game reviews, based on the device I played them on. And the long-term nature of some games of course means that I won’t have finished them all before reviewing them, but will have played enough to have a good feel over whether it’s my kind of thing or not. I can be a bit of a harsh and quick judge on games, but the other good thing about them is, you can easily dip back in if you change your mind later!

There are a handful of game reviews posted already, and plenty more games on the “To Play” list, so watch this space for more as and when they happen.
