But our driver is not at the top. Sadly, I didn’t get to see any of qualifying either - who decided to put Le Mans on when I am just crazy busy?

Still, according to the Autosport report on things:

Stephane Sarrazin, who had taken the last three consecutive 24 Hours poles, was denied the opportunity to extend his streak when the final stint in the #2 car was given to Nicolas Minassian.

Looks like it was a bad decision, as our car only came in third, with Bourdais (boo!) snatching up pole position. Here are the top five:

Of course, as an endurance race, pole position isn’t the be all and end all, but it would have helped not to start third. Never mind. The rest of the schedule for the weekend goes something like this:
