Blog Explosion

Referred to by some as the Devil’s Website, Blog Explosion is a way to generate more traffic to your blog. It’s a bit complicated and I’m not good at explaining things but I’ll give it a go.
Basically, you register your website and then you start surfing others. You have to stay at each blog you visit for 30 seconds and for every two blogs you visit, you get one credit. A credit equals one visitor back to your own website. Every now and then, while you are surfing, you could win a mystery credit prize, which is an added 5, 10 or even 25 credits to your total.
I’m loving this idea. I get obsessed with gathering as many credits as I can, although I don’t actually have the time to sit and play with it as much as I want. An enormous plus point for me is that you don’t have to display a banner or a link back to Blog Explosion on your own site - I hate that. I’m impressed with how they have worked out the system, there’s no way to cheat it (believe me, I have tried). They’ve got several strategies in place so that it can’t be automated. There’s a timer countdown and if you surf too fast, it will tell you.
If you’re not really in the mood for reading all of the blogs, I have tried doing something else and flicking back to get credits, but then you never know, you might miss a genius blog. I’ve currently used Blog Explosion three times and have found that many blogs to add to my RSS feed. I don’t know if anyone likes this one because my comments are broken but still, it’s nice to know that I’m getting more visitors, even if they do only stay for 30 seconds at a time.
