Oh wow, this is such a good album and was a surprise to me, really. I’m a fan of Alanis’ work from Jagged Little Pill, but if I’m honest I don’t know much of her album work outside that one. This is her first album for a while and it’s like plugging right back in to Alanis’ world.

Okay, the subject matter may be slightly more grown up but the recognisable vocals are brilliant as always, and the songs are really catchy. There are some riffs that sound familiar, as so often happens in music these days, but then Alanis grabs them and takes them in her own direction. This one will be replayed often, I think.
