Thoughts

Whilst I’ve been aware of Gracie Abrams for a while, I feel like she’s shot up in popularity and success more than I’d realised. This is a great album, and I can see why she’s doing so well… but it’s just the Olivia Rodrigo sound in a different package, isn’t it? The vocals are less whispery, occasionally reminded me of Lorde, but as a whole, the sound is exactly what you’d expect from these great, modern, pop ingénues. Loved it.
