0:33 Yay for the theme tune. Impossible not to be happy.
3:06 Ooh, Hans Zimmer, who knew?
4:55 Aw, look at the cute little rabbit.
9:07 If all dogs were as high-tech as Gromit, I’d be happy to own one.
10:34 “I haven’t tested it yet, but it should be perfectly safe.”
14:17 They may have messed up her garden more than any rabbit.
20:20 Wallace falls in love so easily, bless him.
22:52 All these high tech greenhouses, they should secure churches like that too.
25:37 He sounds like Joe Grundy off the Archers. (It is!)
28:55 She sent them a signed picture of herself! Things very highly of herself, doesn’t she?
32:06 Gromit always ends up chasing or running - on a train, on a plane, now in the van.
36:04 They found him. We’re only halfway through the film.
40:11 You can’t change a man, especially not like Victor.
46:56 The vicar just happens to have gold bullets stored away.
50:07 I’m actually a bit confused now, but I love the Wallace rabbit.
52:30 “My mind’s just a rabbity mush.” Mine is too most days, and I don’t have an excuse.
54:13 I’m surprised her hair doesn’t look like a carrot to him.
58:24 I’m assuming Gromit designed that cage. He must know how to get out of it.
1:01:54 That IS a giant pumpkin. Bless Mrs Mulch.
1:02:44 This sounds a bit Barry White.
1:04:22 I’m sure mobs never used to have chainsaws.
1:06:59 Oh, Gromit’s in a plane again. Any custard?
1:11:31 Wallace will be fine, he fell in the cheese tent after all.
1:12:25 Aw, cute rabbits crying.
1:14:59 Is she dressed as a sweetcorn?

Thoughts

I’ve seen this once before, and I seem to recall being distinctly unimpressed with it, although I don’t really remember why. I know I like the shorts much better, but I think that’s true of everyone really. I was still happy to give Wallace another chance though.

It’s not the best, I’ll admit, but it certainly wasn’t as bad as I remembered. Wallace and Gromit can make anything amusing, and I do love the cute little rabbits. I just wish Wallace wouldn’t fall in love so easily, he could quite happily fix people’s problems without being in love with the woman with carrot hair.
