In the action-comedy The Interview, Dave Skylark and his producer Aaron Rapoport run the popular celebrity tabloid TV show 'Skylark Tonight.' When they discover that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is a fan of the show, they land an interview with him in an attempt to legitimise themselves as journalists. As Dave and Aaron prepare to travel to Pyongyang, their plans change when the CIA recruits them, perhaps the most unlikely candidates, to 'take out' Kim Jong-un.

Conclusions
I can’t say that I particularly wanted to watch this one, and was pretty conflicted right up until we pressed play. When everything was kicking off between Sony and their hackers, I sort of fell on the side of those thinking it was unwise to make a film about a current world leader who is unpredictable at best.
But then everything quietened down, and it appeared on iTunes and it felt like I should at least see what the fuss was about, as it could have been (and could still be) a pretty important cultural moment.
Unfortunately, it’s a terrible film. Both characters are irritating and unfunny, James Franco is a letdown compared to his usual self, and the plot is implausible at best, disgusting at worst.
