Unlucky in love and with terrible taste in men, Martha bumps into Francis and finally meets the man of her dreams. Conclusions
I knew this was going to be a kooky film but it was even more oddball than I’d expected. That’s not to say it wasn’t good though, or enjoyable. You sort of have to settle into the weirdness, and there’s no way of connecting with these two super-bizarre characters, but once you’re on board, it’s actually great entertainment.
It reminded me a little of True Romance - perhaps not quite so sophisticated, but a story about two weirdos meeting and falling very quickly in love, and then somehow falling into a life of crime that perhaps hadn’t been anticipated initially.
It was short and good, I loved the chemistry between Anna and Sam, and I love them both anyway, so an entertaining watch.
