Thoughts

This was much better than I was expecting. It being the first part of a two part story is always tricky, cliffhanger films are no good. Actually it managed that pretty well, there’s more story to tell but the film itself resolved nicely. Which is a good thing because, as it turns out, there may not be a part two anyway!

There were technical issues with the story in places, moments where you have to suspend your disbelief, but haven’t there always been with a Mission Impossible movie? Otherwise, it was two and a half hours of Tom Cruise doing what he does best and being brilliant. The film looked good, the cast were fun, the locations amazing, so top marks all round!
