2:18 Always love how Keanu says ‘yea’.
6:26 Ooh, a Taskmaster envelope.
9:58 Assuming they had to do this in one take, as you can’t sync up an hourglass, surely?
12:28 I really don’t think you can just blow up a building in New York like that.
23:34 “Friendship means little when it’s convenient.”
28:43 I hope they are setting up hotels as quickly as they are deconsecrating them.
35:22 Haha, the doorbell sound is fun.
35:27 Bet the filmmakers got some inspiration from See for this.
43:07 I cannot imagine how much training went into this fight sequence.
49:10 The pin looks very Hunger Games.
1:03:28 OMG the knife thing has legit made me nauseous.
1:09:49 I would like more info on how the armour in a normal suit works.
1:14:52 Completely respect the medicinal benefits but asthma inhalers are not menacing.
1:21:15 “Let me guess, five of a kind?”
1:30:50 Are they forging a thing? This is the way.
1:45:52 The location scouts for these movies need a raise and a half.

1:59:57 Now we’re doing donuts around Europe’s most notorious roundabout.
2:01:33 It’s all gone a little bit Frogger.
2:12:50 JW has had at least three fatal accidents so far, and he keeps on going.
2:20:48 Up and down these stairs, I can’t stand it.
2:24:09 “And so we begin,” he says, two and a half hours into the movie. Oof.

I’m surprised at the great reviews this film is getting. Sure, it has the great action sequences we know and love from this series, and there are some incredible locations and great lighting so that it is properly delicious to look at. But there’s no substance to it.

It’s hugely long, almost three hours, and there’s barely any story in there to justify the length. A lot of the time you’re just waiting for the next fight to come along to move things on. There are barely any women in it, the only awesome one disappeared halfway through and returned only for a cliffhanger post-credits sequence.

It was gorgeous to look at but ultimately felt like a waste of time.
