1:28 The whole graduation thing is cray-cray to me.
2:31 Probably need to watch Casablanca soon, so many references.
6:10 This speech has taken quite the turn.
14:57 £233k invoice to your kid is genius.
18:22 “This whole teenage coming-of-age thing, it’s a relatively new concept.”
24:42 The cork popping thing is one of my irrational fears. Right on screen in a film.
25:24 “Then I apologise on behalf of all boys. And sorry for all the wars and stuff.”
26:59 He did GPS her.
29:08 Who throws a microwave?
30:11 Light saber!
37:30 He’s got an iTrip, omg that’s some tech nostalgia hitting me right there.
49:51 “You’re useful.” I’m saying that to some people.
1:04:45 Wow, that’s some parking. Humvee halfway up the stairs!
1:09:08 “You’re not alive unless you’re living.”
1:11:33 He literally has been preparing his whole life!
1:24:30 No one should know Shakespeare that well.
1:29:13 Two types of people in this world: those who had a great high school, and those who didn’t.
1:33:38 “What’s not to love?” The driving, definitely.

Conclusions

After something a bit relaxing and keen on seeing Hayden Panettiere on screen again, we tried this teen rom com thing. It was fine, funny in places and also quite moving in others, but ultimately… no different to any other prom night hijinks film you can name.

It just didn’t stand out one way or the other, so entertaining enough to watch but won’t be remembered.
