Conclusions
So I managed to get Mr C to watch The Lion King, and after viewing that one, I realised he probably needed to watch Aladdin as well, because I was going to want to see the live action remake next year. We finally got round to it, and yay!
I love this film. The songs aren’t quite as good as The Lion King, and although the story is quite similar (bad guy wants to take over the throne, protagonist is trying to figure out who they are whilst also falling in love), it’s more relatable thanks to the human element rather than the big cat element.
Anyway, Mr C said he liked it more than Lion King, and he seemed to somewhat enjoy it even though it’s not his thing at all.
