Darla is a controversial columnist for a lifestyle magazine, until her sex addiction spirals out of control and she loses her job. Bailey, on the other hand, is a hopeless romantic who's just been dumped by his high school sweetheart and receives a medical diagnosis that gives him a new perspective on life. To take control of her addiction, Darla decides that the best form of therapy is to reenact her entire sexual history, and after a chance meeting, she coaxes Bailey in to join her.

Thoughts
After the horrors of Total Recall, we were looking for something a little bit lighter and a bit more human. I don’t know if this was as light as I’d expected, given that it’s based on addiction and a cancer diagnosis, but it was fun anyway.
The two have great chemistry and play off each other well, it was funny, and there’s a lot to like about it. I wasn’t totally sold on the premise, it seems like such a weird idea, and to be honest, both characters were behaving like assholes at one point so my sympathy did ebb and flow along the way.
But that’s what makes humans human, their ability to be awful but also so lovely to each other. Good film.
As an aside, who the heck is that on the cover because it’s certainly not Brittany Snow.
