1:25 What the… why was there a Bugs Bunny cartoon before the film?
4:34 “There’s always an area of agreement that two people can reach.” Creepy.
7:32 It’s little feet as it goes running along. Stoopid cute.
9:11 I quite like that it’s a sequel where the two kids are grown up and still together and stuff (for now).
11:12 “Eye pleasing, colour coordinated, authorised.” Just what everyone wants from their art.
20:14 I feel like too many random people can just walk into this top notch genetics lab.
29:14 I feel like Gizmo should be better at not getting wet. Sees water, should run.
31:35 I love the tannoy announcement “your car is old and dirty.”
45:00 “Billy, if we get through today alive, you’re in big trouble.”
46:58 I hope this bit with the eating after midnight questions was put in because we all know it’s a nonsense rule.
49:28 Were they always able to speak? “Mi-cro-wave.”
51:10 Sprinkler system is really not designed for use around gremlins.
55:33 WHAT the ACTUAL… they just shredded a gremlin.
58:22 They’re reviewing the first movie within the second movie!
59:54 Christopher Lee walks in, “what on Earth is going on?” Good question Chris.
1:09:08 Hulk Hogan now too. Are we in the movie or out of the movie at this point?
1:12:51 The ‘female’ gremlin is pretty offensive.
1:19:10 The Gizmo training montage is epic.
1:26:08 He’s got a little Rambo bandana on!

It starts off okay, and I have to admit I really like the weird building that holds all of society in one skyscraper, and entertains them with amusing tannoy announcements. Cute Gizmo appears and that’s fine, but then… yea, it descends into an absolute fever dream of a mess of a film.

It makes no sense plotwise, but equally picks holes in its own plot problems. It’s meta in the way it dips in and out of the actual film but left me not quite sure what I was watching. And although I enjoy Gizmo being the hero at the end… he did a load of training and went into battle with just one arrow. What was his next plan?
