Thoughts

I’ve seen this before because I remembered the fact that mother and daughter were pregnant at the same time, but I could only really remember the scene where they were running across the corridor of the hospital between rooms. Everything that came before that was a surprise, and a pleasant one.

It’s always fun to watch Steve Martin and Martin Short together, and they are great in this. And I love that even though it’s a film that ends in two births and labours, and two babies, there’s very little screeching, wailing, screaming, crying. It’s calm and funny, quirky but adorable. A great sequel!
