The letters from the bank are getting harder to ignore. Can Becky ever escape from this dreamworld, find true love, and regain the use of her credit card?
Thoughts
I really loved this. I’ve been reading a lot of crime fiction recently, and it was so nice to lift my head out of the murky world and instead into the slightly more frothy existence of Ms Rebecca Bloomwood. I’ve seen the film, and although the book is slightly different, it still follows the fun (if difficult) path.
I like that the shopping addiction is something a lot of people can relate to, I’m not so keen on the fashion part of it, but I can get carried away when there’s a good bargain to be had. Breaking up the chapters with the endless amount of chasing letters was good, a nice change as well as showing how serious the issue was.
I’m keen to see how the rest of the series pans out, has Rebecca really changed her ways? I’m thinking maybe not!
