What a clever fox you are

A marketing still for Clever Fox Planners, featuring a notebook with a purple cover, on top of an open planner

My job involves a lot more meetings and scheduled phone calls than it used to, and although that is all managed through the calendar app, I’ve found jotting down the upcoming schedule on paper can be really helpful for me getting organised and prepared for the day ahead.

I’ve tried a few different planners, initially starting with just a simple ruled notebook, and then moving on to the more dedicated planners for this exact purpose. I think I’ve found the pinnacle of these planners, made by Clever Fox.

They’re not cheap but they are really good quality, the paper is thick and the covers are beautiful (so purple!). There are loads of layouts to choose from - daily and weekly, with differing levels of detail depending on your requirements. There’s definitely an element of ’live your best life’ with each journal, as they also feature visions and long term goals and looking back each month at your wins and what you can do better.

But for your basic daily planning, I’ve found it really helpful.

They also have more than just diary style journals available, with all sorts of categories covered. Health and fitness, bucket lists, wine tasting, travel planning, budgeting your money and reading books (I’d love to do this but read far too much to make it worthwhile). The gardening journal looks excellent and I really like this Four Minute Journal which gets you reflecting without taking up too much of your time.

I’ve bought my first Clever Fox notebook and am using it with great success every day. If the habit sticks, I’ll definitely be investing in more planners in the future.
