Procrastination can be a bit of a problem when you’re trying to get something done, and focusing on one task at a time can be a challenge in this world full of endless distractions. There are lots of apps out there that can help with focusing, lots of timers and distraction-less environments and that kind of thing. My chosen one is the Bear Focus Timer, because Tom the bear is just adorable.

The app helps you focus with a default but adjustable 25 minute timer followed by a five minute break, and all of it comes with the adorable illustrations of Tom the friendly bear.

Tom also appears in a couple of other apps - Good Habits to encourage building those habits that are so easy to sack off, Walking Pal which counts your steps and encourages you towards a goal, and Bucket List which allows you to make your list and tick off the items as you achieve them.

It’s hard to focus in a world where the entire human knowledge and culture is available at the touch of a button but put a cute bear in the way and I’ll at least try!
