Librivox: Grace Harlowe's Sophomore Year at High School
Published May 3, 2010
LibriVox is an organisation with a simple goal - to make all public domain works accessible in audiobook form. I’ve been involved for a long while now, part of an enormous group of volunteers who record chapters, poems and entire books to attempt to reach this goal.
I have finally finished the second book in the Grace Harlowe series - Grace Harlowe’s Sophomore Year at High School. As with the first book, Grace is the plucky young hero, facing tricky situations during her second year at school, surrounded by a fiercely loyal group of friends.
This time round, she’s facing stiff competition on the basketball court - where she has taken over the role of captain of the Sophomore team. Some are not happy about the choice, and try and undermine her. Others are determined that their team will win every game. There are more adventures in the ice and snow, whilst the girls finally make a breakthrough with their long-standing enemies.
Thanks to all involved with the production of this book. I really enjoyed reading it, and I’m definitely going to continue on with the next in the series, but I have another solo in mind before I get to the third Grace adventure.
