Messing about on the river

Published August 11, 2009

What unbelievably good weather we had in the UK this past weekend! Mr C and I were so impressed we actually headed outside.

Christine in a boat on the river

We found our way to the river, and ended up on a boat. I didn’t want to take the wheel to start with, but after a while I was desperate to take over, so I drove us up and down, whilst Mr C took some pictures and video.

As it turns out, the way Mr C and I drove the boat was completely opposite. He would weave all over the river, enjoying making as much havoc as possible. I, meanwhile, found it much more fun to try and drive as straight as possible, almost setting myself the challenge of being the smoothest pilot on the river.

It was kinda hard, with the super-sensitive steering of the boat, so I gave up.

This may have been more impressive if it was faster.

Still, it was a good day out, we scored ourselves some vitamin D, and I got some more photos to share with you all. Oh, and the above should reveal that I have set myself up a YouTube account. I don’t know what else I’m going to put on there, but you’ll be the first to know.
