But I want it now, not later
Published February 10, 2006
Towards the end of December, I ordered something off the internet. I really wanted to support the project, because I’m becoming more and more interested in people self-publishing. Plus I like photographs.
The money was taken in early January but I didn’t see anything for a month. After emailing to chase it up, I discovered the order had got lost and would have to be redone, meaning another 2-4 week wait. I wasn’t best pleased with this, so I chose the refund option instead.
Mr C told me that you should never put up with bad customer service, no matter how much you want the project. Whilst I think the way the problem was handled was fine, I’m annoyed there was a problem to start with.
I recently set up for Amazon rental by post and received my first disc in two days. I posted it back, and the next one arrived in the next couple of days.
That’s customer service.
