Ohhhh, I love it so much more now that I understand it. I mean, I’m no rocket scientist, but it makes so much more sense. Since we watched this film, I have become completely obsessed with all things Apollo and Shuttle and NASA, and did you know that in real life it wasn’t 39 seconds, it was actually 14? I still hate NASA for it, but cooool. I can’t stop reading Wikipedia about astronauts and space, and hey, what do astronauts do when they’re not up there? Do they just sit and wait? Anyway, fantastic film. Fabulous ending.

Bought a ticket to the world

With all the current news and info emerging about the Apollo 11 mission - celebrating the 40th anniversary of the moon landings - it’s hard not to think about space travel and what the future of it is. During a reunion of the Apollo 11 crew, Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong seemed to think that Mars should be the next destination. They also didn’t stop at dreaming up _visits _to the red planet but thought we should aim higher. Aldrin’s take on things:

Space truck’s big moment arrives I find it amazing that it’s going to do it all by itself and “Ground controllers and the station’s astronauts will not get involved unless there is a problem.” Also, the live tracking at the bottom is cool.
