4:11 The people getting shaved by those terrifying razor things are so brave.
7:02 There’s a lot of saying “good morning” so far in this film.
10:10 That newspaper has an ad for the Apple II. OMG.
13:31 I wasn’t expecting this to be about the nature versus nurture debate.
19:38 I just feel like it’s really an extreme experiment on a guy who made them millions of dollars.
19:57 “It’s in a good cause.” WHAT CAUSE?
27:05 I would not get in the car with those two creepy looking smiles.

Conclusions

I desperately didn’t want to give up on this one because I gave up on Blues Brothers early too, but unfortunately it seems John Landis just isn’t for me.

The story is so slow, it took ten minutes for three characters to get up and say good morning to all their people.

And it just felt too mean. The description suggests the tables get turned but I couldn’t get past the idea that they would ruin someone’s life so badly on a whim, just because he’s a bit of a snob.
