The world's favourite blue hedgehog is back for a next-level adventure in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. His test comes when Dr. Robotnik returns, this time with a new partner, Knuckles, in search for an emerald that has the power to destroy civilisations. Sonic teams up with his own sidekick, Tails, and together they embark on a globe-trotting journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands.

Thoughts
This felt like a more normal movie than the first one, a bit less frantic and a bit more of your traditional adventure - bad guy trying to take over the world and must be stopped. New faces this time, with Tails and Knuckles, and the sister, omg. I don’t remember her from the first movie but she absolutely stole the show this time round. Incredible.
Lots of easter eggs and fun moments, this was generally an alright film - I didn’t love it but I didn’t hate it and if I’m honest, this franchise is growing on me a little bit.
