| 2:30 | Unfortunate choice of words, but he is a taxi driver I suppose. |
| 6:44 | You can’t tell him to run out on his wedding while he’s at the altar! |
| 7:08 | “She’s thirty yards away, you’re still single.” |
| 11:58 | That’s a smooth speech save. This guy is a wedding crasher in the making. |
| 14:59 | I like that he broke the glass with the hockey stick and then tried to clean it up with the stick too. |
| 18:28 | What’s the rationale of drinking through a pipe like that? |
| 20:44 | Was he naked in front of actual Snoop? |
| 27:22 | I quite like that we’re thirty minutes into the film and I still don’t really know what it’s about. |
| 31:42 | Genuine nightmare to come home and find your house filled to the brim with strangers. |
| 37:19 | Will Ferrell is SO LOUD. |
| 38:57 | “As stupid as they appear, they’re actually very good at paperwork.” |
| 50:25 | Well, that’s Stiffler with a mullet. |
| 58:09 | Lava lamp in the background. |
| 1:03:25 | She’s a bit mean to ask for a divorce at a funeral. |
| 1:13:12 | Debate topics sound like University Challenge questions. Too long. Forgotten the beginning by the time it gets to the end. |
| 1:20:37 | She recorded it, right? She better have! |
| 1:25:55 | Someone had to paint a portrait of Luke Wilson. |
Thoughts
This is such a weird film. Genuinely for the first hour, I didn’t really understand what it was about. It was quite entertaining, these three guys bumbling about and making a mess of their lives, but it didn’t seem to have a point. It wasn’t until the dean got involved that it actually developed a plot and started to mean something.
That wasn’t necessarily a bad thing, though, maybe it was just the timing of when we watched it, but I quite enjoyed just sitting back and watching things happen without worrying about where it was going and whether it was going to be a happy ending or not. It wasn’t a ground-breaking film, nor rip-roaring hilarious, but it was funny in places, and could have been a lot worse!
