Time Comment
1:57 Things travel so fast in space but also appear not to be moving at all.
3:50 Very useful radio message for us, essentially a captain’s log, stardate.
7:17 “Remember your training.” “We never trained for this.”
8:49 Gotta get that shot on Instagram, asap.
11:12 Quite like it when not all the characters get the references either. Phew!
12:26 “Did it just move?” ARGH.
15:44 Why does it need a name?
18:32 Yo-yo in zero g is mental.
27:46 Do they just have the one sample? They must have picked up more than one.
36:11 Tense. TENSE.
39:05 I really wasn’t prepared for this film.

Conclusions

The first twenty minutes of this were great, setting up interesting ethical and moral questions alongside the unmistakable tension and suspense that a movie like Alien does so well. Unfortunately, once the action actually started, it was just too much grossness. That’s all I can say.
