Billy, Paddy, Archie and Sam have been best friends since childhood. So when Billy, the group's sworn bachelor, finally proposes to his thirty-something (of course) girlfriend, the four head to Las Vegas with a plan to stop acting their age and relive their glory days. However, upon arriving, the four quickly realise that the decades have transformed Sin City and tested their friendship in ways they never imagined. The Rat Pack may have once played the Sands and Cirque du Soleil may now rule the Strip, but it's these four who are taking over Vegas.

Conclusions
This was touted, in some circles, as a version of The Hangover but for older folks. Having seen it, I don’t really get that. Yes, there are four guys going to Las Vegas for a bachelor party, but that’s pretty much where the similarities end. There’s an actual story at the heart of this one, with a friendship on the rocks, and some really engaging personalities on display.
Seeing how these four overturn people’s first impressions is fabulous, especially with the young guy they manage to get doing all their bidding.
I was surprised by Mary Steenburgen, who, let’s face it, is the most annoying part of the Back to the Future trilogy - if there is such a thing. Here, she was absolutely brilliant, wise-cracking and able to hold her own amongst a group of very close friends.
Overall a great film, surprisingly funny, and full of heart.
