1:24 The animation of the stories is great.
5:15 “Inner peace.” “Inner piece of what?'
12:07 He’s quite old to be having the ‘where am I from?’ talk!
13:49 Why does a baby panda never get delivered to MY HOUSE?
18:20 Peacock Neo.
21:27 That’s so me. Enthusiastic, let’s go, go, go. Two minutes later. Tired.
23:34 Kung Fu Radish.
26:00 “Your dad, the goose. That must have been quite a shock.”
29:27 “Big and furry. Soft and squishy. Plush and cuddly.”
35:49 Quite fun to have a fight scene where people don’t want to be rescued.
48:48 I do worry about all the roof tiles that are sacrificed in these adventures.
1:01:59 The baby panda had a baby panda toy? Well, I need that.
1:07:58 I love the shouting from a distance. No one can hear.
1:13:55 The inner peace does look quite nice, actually.
1:16:20 “Oh yea, what do scars do? They fade, I guess.”
1:18:29 Look at the grumpy little piglet.

Pretty good sequel, all things considered. It’s hard to do follow ups when the panda has already achieved everything his heart desired. This is a good story though, the threat real. There’s perhaps a bit more fighting than I’d have liked, but it’s nicely offset by the cuteness of the baby panda flashbacks. Dude, seriously.

It’s very funny, too, I do think Jack Black is perfect as a big fluffy, clumsy but earnest panda. What’s not to like?
