Thoughts

It gets harder and harder to make and thus enjoy a rom-com, as most of what can be done has already been done. And, of course, going into this, you know exactly how it’s going to end. But, the two leads are completely likeable, Charlie Day in particular, and there were twists and turns along the way that I wasn’t expecting.

Plus, it really made me think about relationships and who suits who and that whether the grass is greener or not, if you’ve got itchy feet you probably have to give it a go… lots of interesting themes in what was a great story, and a very funny one too.

We’ve not watched many rom-coms recently but this one has shot right to the top of the list.
