Homefront stars Jason Statham as former drug enforcement agent, Phil Broker, a family man who moves off the grid with his daughter to a seemingly quiet bayou backwater to escape his troubled past. However, Broker's world soon becomes anything but quiet once he discovers that an underbelly of drugs and violence riddles the small town. Soon, a sociopathic meth kingpin, Gator Bodine, puts Broker and his daughter in harm's way forcing Broker back into action in order to save his family and the town.

Conclusions
I would usually try and avoid Statham movies like the plague. His style of muscle man who can barely move his mouth to whisper his lines doesn’t appeal to me. However, this one has Franco in it and he does intrigue me, so I figured we could at least give it a go.
It turned out okay, your traditional action flick where there was never any doubt that Franco would lose and Statham would win. Considering most of the Franco films I’ve seen have been comedies, I thought he was pretty convincing as the wild-eyed menacing meth guy.
Statham didn’t convince me, there wasn’t a lot of charisma with the kid, and just because he fights well doesn’t make him a good guy. So, it was fine, but not particularly memorable.
