3:39 It’s weird to have such conversations thousands of miles apart.
5:27 “Admits you warned them that might happen.” That’s nowhere near an apology!
8:34 Did they go up into space to film this? It’s mega.
8:56 It is pretty silent. Great place to record a podcast!
10:51 He’s used the “that’s an order” already!
12:42 The impacts don’t make any noise, that’s weird.
16:26 I hate the idea you can’t stop yourself spinning.
17:44 George Clooney’s voice could talk you down from anything.
19:33 Eek, didn’t think of it coming back round again. Will it ever stop?
21:37 Ew, that’s not pretty. He was having fun before he went though. What more can you want from life except to do the Macarena in space?
25:38 How can he possibly know timezones whilst in space? I can’t work ’em out down here.
34:41 “You point the damn thing at Earth, it’s not rocket science.”
41:59 Yammering is a great word.
45:39 Sandy is totes reading the manual!
51:20 She says it will be a piece of cake. I say there’s still 40 minutes of film left.
56:29 Space rage.
1:04:04 He opened the thing, when she was… can you do that?
1:05:41 Ohh, I see. Loving the visiting George for a pep talk.
1:13:35 I think if I was in space, I’d just keep my suit and helmet on ALL the time.
1:20:12 Even on earth she’s in danger!
1:23:56 I think there’s a story to be told about arriving in a strange country and not having any documents because you fell from space.

Conclusions

After watching one of the early trailer/clips and establishing this might be a pretty epic film, Mr C and I stopped looked at any reference to Gravity, in case of spoilers. We anticipated the arrival of the film, and scheduled viewing time for the very same evening that it downloaded.

It was absolutely worth the wait. Incredible. Clooney and Bullock were both spot on, the visuals were mind-blowing. We spent a good period of time just repeating to each other that they must have taken a rocket into space to film it, it looked so good.

Intense and gripping, the only moment I cared little for was the vision Bullock had, and only because it took us out of the moment. It made sense story-wise, and helped spur things along. It was riveting and if I could, I’d score it 6 out of 5.
