| 1:16 | The start of this really gives off horror movie vibes. |
| 5:53 | The ‘joke’ about coughing and being contagious in a lift has not aged well. |
| 10:17 | “I just don’t want the bubble to burst.” |
| 13:07 | I didn’t realise this scene was so early in the film. |
| 21:24 | It is clever the way he runs off but then comes back to find what really happened. |
| 22:35 | You do have to be really careful what you wear in case that’s what you end up being a ghost in forever. |
| 30:45 | Carl is SO suspicious. |
| 35:49 | “Like trains?” Well, I used to. |
| 41:34 | Whoopi stealing the show, can’t believe it took us 40 minutes to get to her. |
| 47:11 | That Henry VIII song will be stuck in my head now. |
| 1:02:29 | Ooh, didn’t remember that Odeme has a police record. |
| 1:10:36 | Ew, creepy Carl. |
| 1:14:52 | “I don’t know how you focus, you just focus.” |

| 1:32:56 | Was this before or after Sister Act? |
| 1:41:40 | So he has become a poltergeist. |

Thoughts
You know that episode in Friends where Phoebe doesn’t know the true ending of a movie because her parents wouldn’t let her watch it? Well, this is my movie. The bit with the window… I can’t. And that really sums up what a bizarre film this is. It’s a romance, okay, but it’s also a comedy (when Whoopi shows up, at least, everything before that is an absolute snoozefest), but it’s also absolutely terrifying. The guy on the train is scary as anything, even when they become friends and he’s just laughing. Oof. The demon shadows are creepy, the window scene is unwatchable.
And yet, it’s supposed to be soft and gentle and romantic and moving and a story about an everlasting love? I don’t get it.
