Conclusions
Loved this film, but potentially for all the wrong reasons - the fact that Iron Man made a cameo appearance, and the little Iron Man noise in the cinema. The bit where the kid uses Vine and becomes their social media director just for being awesome.
It’s a nice story, heartwarming, with plenty of food appreciation along the way. Favreau is excellent at being passionate about food, and clueless about technology. I thought the kid was a great actor - you don’t tend to see quite so many rubbish child actors these days, do you?
The reliance on social media means this film isn’t likely to age well, but it’s a great watch now, so make sure you check it out while it’s still relevant!
