After making their way through high school (twice), big changes are in store for officers Schmidt and Jenko when they go deep undercover at a local college. But when Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the football team, and Schmidt infiltrates the bohemian art major scene, they begin to question their partnership. Now they don't have to just crack the case - they have to figure out if they can have a mature relationship. If these two overgrown adolescents can grow from freshman into real men, college might be the best thing that ever happened to them.

Conclusions
I had reservations going into the first movie but my doubts were quashed and I ended up loving it. Exactly the same thing happened with the second, and it turns out that’s an echo of the majority of the film itself. They unashamedly repeat a lot of what happened in the first, in fact they take time to point out just how many similarities there are.
It’s that kind of self-referential comedy that makes the whole thing tick. It’s funny in places by itself, but it’s mostly when it’s picking on itself that it really works. The bit about the church being across the street, and 23 Jump Street being built, stuff like that made it what it was.
Plus, there’s a football helmet on wheels, and I can’t take anything away from that.

Be Kind, Rewind - Feb 2016
I think this is one of the few sequels that I like better than the original. I laughed all the way through, to the point where it gave me a headache. Making fun of itself but also being hilarious in its own right, the partnership between Tatum and Hill has grown and is so much better this time round. So many quotables, so much fun, I can’t really begin to describe how much I love it.
If I could, I’d give it 11 out of 5, but sadly 5 out of 5 is going to have to do.
