3:11 Jam is a rubbish Secret Santa gift, unless you’re a jam fanatic.

8:17 Who replies to an email with a phone call? Not going on that date.
12:35 I feel like you should pre-warn about handing over dog responsibilities.
20:12 “Honey doesn’t have a smell.” WHAT? Of course it does.
31:39 It’s made me crave mozzarella sticks.

Thoughts

I wasn’t expect much from this movie, but actually, I ended up really enjoying it. It’s a blatant copy of Groundhog Day but it kind of leans into it with the clock and everything so it’s not annoying. I love messing about with time and the chance to redo things and see what different outcomes there will be, so it was right up my street from that point of view.

There were a few inconsistencies with the dog, and actually I think they hampered themselves a bit putting the dog in there. It wasn’t until halfway through that I clocked the references to the 12 Days of Christmas so have to go back and see if they are all in there from the beginning. Mostly, it was just a fun time-loop festive cheesy movie. Yay!
