Thoughts

I’m starting to get hooked on Ira Levin’s works, and this one was another great read. From the moment it begins, you know you’re in for a riot of a ride, with the focus dipping from one person to the next, including the killer. The characters are great, the writing stellar, and it’s a page-turner and a half.

It’s hard to say much more without spoiling anything, but those stand-out moments that make you gasp are so simple and so unexpected. When she walked in the room, and when he was already in the room, and so on, just brilliant to behold.

Totally recommended, a quick read that will keep you guessing until the very end. On the one hand, I sort of wanted more about what happened afterwards, but on the other hand, it was a great way to finish the story.
