The Earth side of the Moon

I have a huge and growing list of things to blog about but April really got away from me… how can I not have written already about the Artemis II mission? I was so looking forward to it, I kept an eye on it constantly, and was hugely impressed with some of the imagery they shared. The moon in all its grey and cratered glory. I love it so much.

The thing about the Artemis II mission is, it all just seemed to go so smoothly, didn’t it? Excellent launch, reached the moon as planned, took lots of photos, named a crater in a hugely emotional moment, and then came back to Earth with a bump and a heck of a story to tell. Nothing about space travel is normal but things going to plan, that’s how we like it.

Next stop, landing on this bad boy.
