Fun in the Welsh sun
Published July 23, 2013
It’s been a while since I took one full week off work, but that’s what I did this past week, and boy did I pack in the activities!
Wednesday and Thursday last week, Mr C and I went to Silverstone to watch some F1 cars while they were testing. We shared photos along the way via Twitter, and then gathered everything up at the end of the day in a dedicated post on Sidepodcast. Here are links to those posts, because I really like how creative we got with the photos and think it’s worth sharing - if you haven’t seen it already.
It was a three-day test but I couldn’t attend on Friday, as I was off on a bit of an adventure by myself - heading to north Wales for some fun in the sun. I’ve got a few specific posts to write on that in the future, but I thought I would take a leaf out of our own book, and gather the photos I shared over the past few days here in one space.
Llandudno beach - with incredible blue skies.

On a tram to the top of Great Orme.

At the top of Great Orme.

Paid a tiny bit extra to have a hotel room with a sea view - worth it to my mind.

From the top of Mount Snowdon.

A bonus visit to the set of The Prisoner. Very colourful it was too!

It was a really fun week, snapping lots of photos, spending time in the sun (which I am usually quite averse to doing), and generally relaxing (which I’m also not known for). Back to reality now, of course, but still time to relive the holiday joy when trawling through the many pictures taken. Watch this space.
