A booklet, not a tablet

I’ve been hearing about the Microsoft Courier but not really been paying attention. It first came to my attention as a competitor to the still-fictional-at-the-moment Apple tablet, but from what I’ve read, it’s not meant to be a tablet computer, it’s something different.
I recently saw a video of the potential uses for the Courier and was blown away.
There are also pictures and more info here.
It looks really cool, although I am a bit confused by the pen. I understand writing notes and using the pen as a tapping tool, but did she really have to write in the url for a website by hand? That seems a bit backwards.
Although having said that, it does encourage people to remember what pens are and perhaps the art of handwriting won’t be lost quite so soon if we all adopt this kind of technology.
