Okay, you see these things all the time. Photo Friday, Talky Tuesday, Question Saturday. Some of them are genuinely cool things to take part in (Photo Friday being one that I do whenever I can), and some of them are just a way for people to come up with ideas to fill their blogs, because they don’t have anything sensible to talk about. I have considered doing some of them, but have so far restrained myself, because I don’t really like the idea of someone else controlling what I write about.

Anyway, I have now come up with one of my own. It doesn’t require anything except a bit of extra time when you’re reading your blogs.

Must Comment Monday

I know how much I love to receive comments and these things are few and far between. I know that other people must feel the same, and yet for some reason I rarely comment on other people’s blogs unless I have something incredibly relevant to say. However, all that is about to change.

On a Monday, make it your duty to comment on every blog that you read. Even if it’s just to say hello. Trust me, it will make someone’s day.

A couple of points, although there are no rules: You don’t have to comment on news or gossip sites, I’m mostly talking about personal blogs here. And you don’t have to comment on blogs where you need to sign in, because I disagree with that principal entirely.

By the way, I do know that it is Sunday today.
