It all started with glitter

I was digging around the internet and uncovered some entries from my earliest foray into blogging. I was there as blogging was becoming big, not one of the early adopters, but definitely before it became mainstream to own a domain and a site. My blogging instrument of choice was Blurty.com, which, now I look at it, is awful. Sadly, I was one of those early bloggers who didn’t try and be profound (although that may be a blessing in disguise) but preferred to give highly insightful details into the comings and goings of daily life.

DVD Day #9

Second attempt at The Whole Ten Yards. I didn’t think it was as good as the first one, and was disappointed with the way it started, but I got into it about halfway through. With that achieved, I settled down to watch Strictly Dance Fever, which was brilliant, and has, of course, bumped my old favourite dance, to be replaced by the Charlston. And I’ve narrowed down my favourite couples to just three.

Relieved

I can never help myself. I have a gorgeous apple and blackberry crumble sitting in front of me. I know that it’s hot, just out of the oven, but still… I’d sacrifice ending up with a burnt tongue for any kind of crumble, it has to be my favourite dessert! I thought I was having a useless day, I was trying to achieve things but they weren’t going right. I took my friend shopping but didn’t get anything for myself, I tried to tidy up some, but ended up making more mess.

Lord of the Rings

It’s just… amazing. I mean, even that word doesn’t do it justice, I’m honestly speechless about it and there are few things that can have that effect on me. Two thoughts – Orlando Bloom, beautiful man! I could never get a crush on him, but my god… he’s beautiful! And secondly, the scenery? I can’t even begin to describe it. I love a film that I can get totally lost in, and this one I did.
