Media City in the sunshine

Quite a while back now, Mr C and I ventured towards Manchester to see what all the fuss was about with these new television studios at Media City. The move away from London towards a new settlement a little further north is full of political interest, but that’s not why we wanted to go. ITV, 4OD and BBC - iPad apps for every channel

With ITV finally bringing out their app for iDevices, we know have all channels from 1 through to 4 covered. A couple of possibilities have been discussed, including the two broadcasters sharing locations, facilities, resources and media - with most of the items coming from the BBC side, available for ITV to use.

ITV hasn’t really featured in my thoughts recently, but now two things have happened that sort of cancel each other out. Let me explain. The Good ITV shows are now available on iTunes. Get your hands on Cold Feet (yay!) or Lewis (uh…) and that’s about it at the moment.
