For the longest time, I’ve been wanting to buy Buffy the Vampire Slayer on iTunes, but I’ve held off because it’s not in HD. Plenty of older content is being converted into HD, but I understood that Buffy was a particularly tricky one to convert, what with it being all special effects and kick-ass movement. I hadn’t realised that the conversion had already been attempted a couple of years ago, with incredibly awful results.

Yesterday was the last ever Buffy and it made me cry, not because it was sad or anything - it was good but nothing fancy. It made sense and everything worked out okay, but it seemed to go out with a whimper instead of a big bang… in my opinion. Anyway, it just made me cry because I spent the best part of this time last year watching all the videos that my brother lent to me so I could catch up, and now it’s all over.

I hate computers… I updated this once already today, well, yesterday and it just disappeared. Typical. Today was the longest day of my life, second after second ticked by slow as ever. I even wrote a poem called Bored. Says it all really, doesn’t it? When I got home, took a nice shower then settled down to watch some Buffy. Looks like I’m gonna have to speed watch and get through all the series’ before I lose access to them… It’s unlikely I’ll manage to finish them.

Because my brother is away at the moment and has limited space available, I get to look after all his videos for him. I have collected from him all the series’ of Friends that are out, and today he brought me six seasons of Buffy. Now this is a real treat, because I only manage to catch the occasional Buffy episode and although I love it, I never seem to know what’s going on.
