Anyway, this is their debut album and what an amazing body of work to kick off your career with! There aren’t really hte amazing stand out songs that feature later in their career but it’s some really good rock to get you going. I was confused why Seven Seas of Rhye is on there and also on the second album, but this was a shorter instrumental version that obviously went down quite well because it came a fully fledged song by the next album. Mm, what a great journey.

This is a good opening album, it shows off their interesting harmonies and unique style. It’s a little bit dated at this point… but there are some highlights on there. Another Town, Another Train somehow got stuck in my head. Whilst I didn’t like so much Nina, Pretty Ballerina. But interesting to see what comes next!

Yay for women crushing it in rock and roll. This was a great album right from the start, Suzi giving no inches as she grabs hold of the 70s rock and shakes it for all its worth. It always astounds me that people can multi-task playing bass and singing because I can barely do either of those things let alone both at the same time.

Goodbye Yellow Brick Road by Elton John

Somehow it has been more than three years I’ve been doing this album adventure and I haven’t yet listened to Elton, old or new. This being the first, it has some of the big classics on there, but I have to admit, it being a double album was a little bit long. It’s good, obviously, it’s Elton and his talent is unquestionable, but it did just feel like a lot to get through each time.
