3:41Loving that Hudgens is old enough to be the teacher now.
6:36“Magic boxes that make merry.”
9:09Not convinced that he’s gone from Norwich to Ohio. The time travel I’m okay with though.
11:01I really don’t think you should call people crone, whatever time you come from.
14:56“I survived your tube of torture.
21:51It’s a fair point, hot dog is a terrible name for a food.
24:25Quite envy his lack of filter, really.
26:14Loving the battle with Alexa. It’s the same for everyone.
28:56“I could not make her stop so I banished her to the night air.”
38:18Snow is not the best condition to figure out how to drive in.
43:15Aldovia!
45:12Wait, that’s why people shake hands? To prove they’re weapon free?
50:43I don’t think you should just leave a sword in the front garden.
1:01:12“Two hours, two hot cocoas, and nary a quest in sight.”
1:05:35Fancy neck-ribbon.
1:14:04“Cole, your medallion.” HAHA.
1:17:23I feel bad for Paige, getting mixed messages or what.
1:24:47Those are two terrible names for a dog.
1:25:26Where did the horse come from???

Thoughts

So… the first of December rolled around and immediately I re-subscribed for Netflix, and got watching their latest Christmas movie offerings. This one, it was fun in the moment with a glass of wine and getting that early festive spirit on but oh no, it wasn’t a good movie.

You sort of know it’s not going to be groundbreaking with the concept - a knight time travels and something about Christmas? Oh-kay.

But it’s even worse than that. So many plot-holes, so little point. No one seems to really go on a journey here, no one learns anything to help them. I still don’t totally understand what his quest was, because if it was legitimately to just fall in love, that’s very harsh to say he needs to do it by a certain time. You can’t force these things.

Why did the hospital let him go, why did she let him in her house, why did the time travelling cross oceans as well as centuries, why didn’t he get back to the 14th century and tell everyone what he’d seen, why did the horse manage to travel back as well?

So weird. Just so weird.
