The clues they discover lead them down a treacherous path of arson, murder, and international terrorism. Sean must use his intuition, along with the help of infamous jailed arsonist Ronald Bartel (Donald Sutherland), in a race to find out who is behind the fire and stop them from accomplishing their devious plans.

6:07“I’m a fireman.” Well that has Batman echoes about it.
7:42Oooh, the Captain is Monarch of the Glen!
10:16It’s like an episode of Casualty… what’s going to burn down next?
12:19He didn’t eat any of the food! Doesn’t eat, doesn’t sleep…
17:58No idea what he’s talking about, but he sells it well.
21:36You do have to wonder why a fireperson would need a gun.
23:16Loving his warehouse.
24:45“Me? I rise above all categories.” The ego on this guy.
30:39No one is allowed to say pop quiz anymore.
42:02I like that he just has a dog now.
49:17Their torches are so good!
56:26This guy doesn’t sleep at all but doesn’t appear to have a bed anyway.
1:05:49The dialogue in this movie is bizarre as anything.
1:12:38I recognise that career dissipation line from the first one.
1:14:43HE SLEEPS.
1:16:39Ah, this is why he doesn’t sleep.
1:19:39Oh, hey, look, McCaffrey had a kid who can go on to become another tortured firefighter in Backdraft 3.
1:24:58He literally fought fire with fire.

This film was so bad! The only good thing about it existing is that it made us watch the first one but that’s it.

In no particular order: bad acting, bad storyline, weirdest dialogue ever, more cop movie than fire movie, dodgy special effects and plot holes galore.

Mr C was outraged when they were banging on about cell tower pings, and they could have just got some mobile cell towers and triangulated the whereabouts of the missing missile, rather than all the crazy shenanigans that went on.

You know a movie is bad when Donald Sutherland is the absolute pinnacle of it, and he was only in it five minutes.
