Thoughts

I’ve read the book this film is based upon and really liked it but knew it was going to take a little while to muster the courage to watch the film - it’s going to be an emotional rollercoaster, I thought. And yea, it was exactly that.

It’s good, witty teenagers living their lives is always entertaining, but with the added complexities of their illnesses . That introduces thoughts of life and death, as well as survivor’s guilt and the weight of being a burden on others. Interesting insights.

Of course, I knew the twist and Mr C guessed the twist but it was still a great story and still ended in puddles of tears. What a great job by both leads. Do think there should have been more Isaac though.
