|1:27||Already this seems just like Men in Black.|
|6:46||“This stops bullets, your’s stops you from getting dates.”|
|8:06||Argh, I hate it when you know it’s going to happen and you’re just waiting for it. All Final Destination-esque.|
|9:36||That was some pretty poor CGI, but I guess you can’t really break Ryan’s neck.|
|10:36||And yet the freeze-frame is so cool.|
|15:19||That’s why there’s bad mobile reception?|
|18:07||They travel around through toilets?|
|18:29||That explains that camera/vcr shop down the street. I’m so peering through the window next time I go past.|
|23:54||“You ain’t my partner, rook.”|
Ah, I was looking forward to this. I knew it wasn’t going to be epic, you could tell from the concept and the trailer, but it looked like it might hold its own and hey, Ryan Reynolds!
But no, it was unwatchable. We gave it a chance through some really dodgy CGI, through the setup which was just a badly done Men in Black, and then through some unintelligible conversation about curry.
In the end, we opted to invoke the twenty minute rule, and switched off.
