0:57 Ooh, I miss the sideways phones.
5:40 The babyfaces that are in this cast is incredible!
6:01 “You’re overthinking it.” “Am I? Or did whoever make it underthink it?”
10:56 She obviously didn’t watch the first movie… don’t mess with the garage door.
13:59 Hayden looks great with the short hair!
23:04 She doesn’t really have a right to be there though, does she?
24:06 “Alright, then I’m going rogue.” You’re not supposed to announce the rogue-ness.
37:02 “This isn’t a movie.” “It will be.”
43:38 Oof, lifts are terrifying anyway, let alone in a scary movie.
48:22 If that’s control, I’d hate to see them out of it.
50:20 Ah, I love the rules bit.
1:00:09 Oh no, is this the bit where they can see what’s happening to each other but can’t help? I hate this bit.
1:02:26 It DOES suck to be a cop in a movie.
1:10:11 The deputy is super suspicious.
1:21:22 We’re really running out of suspects here.
1:30:44 “I don’t need friends, I need fans.”
1:34:21 That is really some dedication to your cause.

I didn’t even know this movie existed until very, very recently, so happy to have dived right in and watched it fresh off the back of the others. This was such a good one, considering we’re four movies in, a sequel as good as, if not better, than the previous two. The old characters continue to live with their trauma every day, whilst the new gang fit in and handle it all really well. Somehow, despite the fact they are cynical enough to make fun of the horror genre, and stupid enough to fall for all its traps, it all makes sense and is really well done.

It’s always fun to try and guess whodunit and why, and I think this is the closest we’ve managed to get, but that’s more because the suspects really were dwindling by the end, rather than having actually got the hang of the twists and turns of these movies. Very interested to see what the brand new film has in store.
