1:31 “Did you ever fight a hippo?” Damn, I want to know the answer to this now.
6:48 David Bowie, Prince, and Superman.
15:50 “I’m only interested in her skill set.”
17:24 Billy Crudup! Bonus.
29:33 I like that Lois and Martha spend time together now.
38:36 I am enjoying the Flash. He’s fun.
55:08 Not smart to give Diana rage, is it?
1:01:10 “Dressed like a bat. I dig it.”
1:10:02 They just make such an odd collection of people, standing in their heroic stances like that.
1:13:12 Is he going to go all Buffy and be like, I preferred it when I was dead.
1:19:22 They just left the box in the middle of the street, idiots.
1:25:16 Hell of a sunset to welcome you back from the dead.
1:32:19 Batman still managing to cause destruction even in an abandoned town.
1:34:52 “This isn’t the plan.” “No Master Wayne, this is the team.”
1:44:41 That’s a pretty grisly end, even for a bad guy.

My expectations going into this one were quite low because, well, because we have watched other DC movies. But of course also because Zack Snyder was so unsatisfied with the job JW did that he had to make a four hour version instead. But you know what? I thought it was okay. It’s not a patch on any of the Marvel movies but actually as a collection of DC heroes fighting a big bad, it was alright!

I really loved Ezra Miller as The Flash, they really sparked some life into it. It felt odd to have this collection of heroes that we’d never seen before but they felt really important. Like Batman was talking to Aquaman as if we should all know who he was but that movie is next. So it felt a bit clunky in places, but the action sequences were okay and it was just… fine. That in itself isn’t a compliment, I know, but it could have been so much worse!
